In this series of paintings, I intentionally diverge from the conventional approach to watercolour landscapes. The overlayed map here is intended to look hand inked, but it has been created using a process that incorporates design and masking techniques. This map illustrates the physical transformations in the landscape of the Bribie region, including the Bribie breakthrough in recent years, serving as a way to bring together personal experience and memory to the historical and geographical context of the place.
